Children Illustration
Here you will find a curated collection of my children's picture books, character design, and personal exploration projects.
"Selena Sirena" is my first published picture book for children, It's about an adventurous mermaid and her best friend stingray, and a fantasy-driven narrative with an enjoyable plot twist at the end.
These are some of the final pages of the book that I illustrated and also designed the final look of the book itself.
"El taller del creador" is my second published children's picture book. The main idea of the book is to serve as a bestiary where all the creatures were imagined/created by the protagonist to encourage young readers to also imagine their own fantastic creatures.
Here you will find some "behind the scenes" images of the whole design and illustration process. I also was in charge of the final design and edition of the book.
This is the Super STEM project in which I was tasked to design a group of characters with superpowers resembling well-known pop culture characters but in an original way.
The Spider girl was based of Spiderman, but she grew multiple arms. And the slime boy was inspired by "Blight" from Batman Beyond he would fire these plasma/slime beams to beat up his enemies. In the end the project was canceled but i got to design 4 fully rendered characters and plenty of sketches. I also did some backstory writing for the world they lived in.
These are some style explorations and sketches for a personal picture book project.
Here you will find some personal work and also images I use to post on my social media channels, always trying to explore new characters, worlds, and ways to express myself through my art.
And finally some flat vector illustrations.
Thanks for watching!
